NE 23 is located in South-Central Nebraska. Contibuted by Daren Fleischman, he relates that it is “Up and down sweeping turns through the lower sandhills.” He also recommends the Curtis Cattle Company restaurant in Curtis for it’s chicken fried steak. I suspect you need to be a local to know what chicken fried steak is, but it sounds delicious.

2) Connecticut: SR 66 - 29 mile ride through scenic towns in the Central Valley and Eastern Uplands.
3) Idaho: National Forest Road 9 - “Some nice sweepers and a few twisties near the pass compliment this beautiful ride through the Coeur d’Alene and Kaniksu National Forests.”
4) Minnesota: CR 5 - “…full of sweepers.” Parallels, and can be combined with, CR 21.
5) Missouri: SR 82 - “…sweeping turns, good visibility, good surface, very, very little traffic.”
6) Montana: SR 471 - “Some nice sweepers and a few twisties near the pass compliment this beautiful ride through the Coeur d’Alene and Kaniksu National Forests.”
7) Nebraska: SR 11 - “This road rolls over and around the hills between the Missouri and Niobrara Rivers and is a lot of fun to ride.”

4) Michigan: SR 123 - “The road takes you through some of the deep Upper Peninsula forest and right past the Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls.”

6) New York: SR 28N - “The road is very quiet and seldom traveled, even at the height of tourist season.”
